Sorry I've not been around a whole lot, I do have some things to post, but I'm so full of procrastination it's amazing even me!
I've mostly been doing physical/time consuming things, including making a whole cloak from scratch ._.
I have a bridle-work course next week, which I am very excited for.
Cy and I got two rescue kittens in January, and they are just made of adorable, Isis (my girl) generally just always wants to be around me, and will sleep on the windowsill next to my pc if I won't let her on my lap. She'll also play fetch with paper balls, so there's a bunch of them all over the house... >>;
Also. I am engaged ^^

I will return
Honest.
I know I've said that before, but I really will!
I've been dabbling on another account, but that's mostly fulfilling my guilty pleasure of drawing a lot of horses, but the constant feeling of total inadequacy when it comes to Photoshop is starting to wear me down, so I want to balance out with some more dragons/designs etc. Go back to traditional for a bit as well.
Also, I seem to revert to about 14 on t'other account, I'm all friendly and shit, it's really weird. Anyway, long story short, I'll be back, it might be a slow start, but i will!
I knew this would happen..
Spent the whole of last year (minimum) whining to myself about wanting to be creative, and having so many ideas, if I only had the time...
I have the time.
I have lost the ideas.
I hate you, brain. So, so much hate. In order to kick-start my arting again, I've decided to re-draw a bunch of my old artwork, and hope that inspires me to do more things. Maybe.. But I am also at the same time doing a lot of embroidery still, as well as teaching myself how to make books. Pictures eventually :p So it's not all doom and gloom on the creative front, I guess. Just annoyingly slow.
Gah.
The essay writing process.
Open Word, stare at it for a good couple of minutes.
Move books around into a more aesthetically pleasing pile.
Browse the Internet for about 20 minutes.
Get annoyed at self and go back to staring at Word.
Write a list of things to do today.
Cross off 'write a list of things to do today'.
Browse the internet.
Flick through books and open another Word document, write 50 words over half an hour.
Browse the internet.
Write another 40 words.
Go downstairs and make a cup of tea
Clean the kitchen.
Write 200 words, feel really pleased that you're getting into it and rewards self by browsing the internet for an hour.
Stare at Word again
One Month to go
And then I've finished uni. My last bit of work will be handed in and it's real world time.
*Cue unintelligible screaming and shouting. And possibly flailing..*
I have 20,000 words to write by the end of that time. And roughly 50-80 hours worth of embroidery to do by next weekend. I don't think there's actually enough days left.. Anyway. I'm partly really excited that it's all going to finally be over, and I can make a start doing things I actually want to as well (hopefully..) finding my creativity again. Which I've lost. Again. ¬¬
But I'm also partly terrified, I might not even be able to get it all done in time, and if I do, t

Ooooooh boy. Same here, I had stuff to post from last year and never got around to scanning it (although I scanned something last week and it's barely showing, pencils and scanners are not friends), so my last deviation is from a year ago. Whoopsie. Will we get to see a pic of the cloak?
Rescue animals are so fudging sweet. Once you get them past their issues (if they have any) they're brilliant. Had an old friend whose rescue whippet used to tremble if you tried to touch her, but once she realised you weren't trying to hit her (admittedly my friend had to hold her in place so you could stroke her) she just became a ball of love and OMGLETMEPLAYWITHYOUPLAYPLAYPLAYCUDDLE.
Congrats on the engagement! How long have you guys been together?
